HostGTPro: Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

1. Prohibited Uses and Content

• Any illegal activity under applicable law (e.g., fraud, trafficking, or distribution of controlled substances).
• Phishing, identity theft, or distribution of malware (viruses, worms, Trojans).
• Hosting, distributing, or linking to child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or content harmful to minors (reported immediately to law enforcement and suspended without notice).
• Infringement of intellectual property rights (copyright, trademark, etc.).
• Promoting or facilitating violence, terrorism, prostitution, or sex trafficking.
• Operating ponzi/pyramid schemes, unlawful gambling, or deceptive marketing.
• Distributing prescription medications without valid authorization.
• Distributing pornography or adult-related content.
• Disclosing sensitive personal information without consent or storing Protected Health Information (PHI) under HIPAA (HostGTPro is not HIPAA-compliant).
• Hosting or distributing counterfeit goods or services.
• Harassment, hate speech, or content that incites violence or discrimination.

2. Resource and Network Abuse

• Hosting anonymous proxies, Tor exit nodes, or IRC servers/bots.
• Running file-sharing sites, BitTorrent/P2P services, or cryptocurrency mining.
• Excessive CPU/memory usage, long-running processes, or scripts that impact server stability.
• Using accounts primarily for backups, storage, or off-site file repositories (Services are for active websites only; inactive content may be deleted without notice).
• Launching denial-of-service (DoS) attacks, port scanning, or unauthorized network access.

3. Unauthorized Access and Automation

• Gain unauthorized access to systems/networks (hacking, probing vulnerabilities).
• Use automated tools (scrapers, spiders, bots) to interfere with the Services or website without permission.
• Forge headers or impersonate others.

4. Zero-Tolerance Spam and Email Policy

• Sending unsolicited bulk email (spam), purchasing lists, or "spamvertising" sites is prohibited.
• Forging headers or misrepresenting sender information is not allowed.
• Accounts causing IP blacklisting will be suspended/terminated immediately.
• Email sending must comply with laws such as CAN-SPAM (including opt-out requirements and a valid physical address).
• Sending limits apply to prevent abuse; excessive volume may trigger suspension.
• You must maintain valid SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records to ensure email deliverability.
• Mailing list services must use confirmed opt-in (double opt-in).

5. Enforcement

• HostGTPro may suspend, terminate, or remove content at our sole discretion upon violation.
• Violations may be reported to law enforcement or relevant authorities.
• Repeated violations may result in permanent termination without refund.
• Defamation claims: HostGTPro relies on court orders for removal; we are not the publisher of user content.
• No refunds will be issued for violations of this AUP.
• Enforcement decisions are at HostGTPro's sole discretion.
• You may appeal a suspension or termination by contacting support@hostgtpro.com within 7 days.

6. Reporting Violations

• You are responsible for all activity on your account.
• HostGTPro does not actively monitor content but may review it upon complaints.
• You must keep your contact information current; failure to receive notices due to outdated contact details does not excuse violations.
• This AUP applies to all users, resellers, and their customers.
• HostGTPro reserves the right to modify resource limits and usage policies with reasonable notice.
• Backup of your data is your responsibility; HostGTPro is not liable for data loss.

By using HostGTPro Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Acceptable Use Policy.
